Currently on site the New Boarding House is an L shaped, four story building providing two new houses and a link building. The main architectural feature of the building is the steel framed, glazed, pyramid roof above the link structure. Traditional methods of construction such as load bearing walls and timber trusses combined with modern steel framed feature points guarantees that the New boarding House should be both practical and aesthetically impressive, while fitting in with the original historic buildings of the college.
