After the successful completion of the
Brooklands 1 project work quickly began on a
second extension to another nursing home for the
same client. The traditional design of the
extension means that even though the the new
construction is of a considerable size it still
fits in well with the surrounding residential
urban area. HMB provided Bills of Quantity for
tender by which the most suitable contractor
could be selected and competitive price for the
work reached. For the duration of the project
HMB will produce monthly valuations, variation
estimates, cost reports and carry out site
visits to ensure the client maintains up-to-date
on on the cost of construction and implications
of any changes he wishes to make.
