         Construction Design Management

Hadland Manning Bullock have three fully trained CDM Co-ordinators who have each successfully overseen a variety of projects in many different sectors.


 The CDM Regulations 2007

 The CDM regulations came came into force on 6th April 2007. The main aims of this regulation is to improve health and safety within the construction industry, to add more focus on effective planning and to ensure all members of the design team are responsible for highlighting possible safety or design issues.

Under these new regulations the HSE must be notified of any project which will last longer than 30 days on site or 500 person days of construction work.


 CDM Co-Ordinators
During the course the project we will assist the design team by pointing out buildability, health and safety and maintenance issues with the proposed development. Whilst on site we will work closely with the contractor to monitor the site and that any work being carried out has the required risk assessments and is properly supervised. We will also submit and maintain all the information required by the HSE in regards the CDM regulations.


 CDM Experience 

Hadland Manning Bullock have been CDM Co-ordinators on a variety of projects from education to health care. Depending on your individual needs we can offer CDM Co-ordinator and Quantity Surveying services on the same project or each of the respective services on their own.

Recent projects Hadland Manning Bullock have been employed as CDM Co-ordinators include:

  • Milton Keynes Framework Agreement. HMB have been appointed CDM Co-ordinators for all primary and secondary school developments for Milton Keynes council.
  • Malvern College Projects. HMB are currently acting as both CDM Co-ordinators and Quantity Surveyors for Malvern College on projects including a new boarding house and sports facility.
  • Private Residences through-out the UK. HMB have had the the pleasure of providing CDM and Quantity Surveying services to a number of long term clients, for projects such as new build houses, renovations and other and private developments.
