ISO14001 and BS OHSAS 18001
HMB have recently begun the
process of applying for
ISO14001 and BS OHSAS 18001
as part of our constant aim
to reduce our impact on the
environment.
ISO 14001 is the principal management system standard which specifies the requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System. OHSAS 18001 provides a framework to the effective management of Occupational Health & Safety including compliance with the legislation that applies to our activities and identified hazards.
CPD on "Straw Bale" construction
HMB have organised a CPD event at our offices on the subject of Straw Bale Construction.Construction methods are constantly changing and evolving due to advances in technology and new legislation, HMB aim to continually adapt to these changes by keeping up to date with current systems and products being used in the construction industry. By attending CPD events our surveyors can meet the requirements of the RICS by improving and maintaining professional competence in our industry.
